Welcome and Invocation
Call to Worship: Ps. 18:1-3,39,40,46
P 1I love you, O Lord, my strength.
C 2The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
P my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
C 3I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.
P 39For you equipped me with strength for the battle;
you made those who rise against me sink under me.
C 40You made my enemies turn their backs to me,
and those who hated me I destroyed.
P 46The Lord lives, and blessèd be my rock,
and exalted be the God of my salvation—
C 3I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.
New Testament Canticle (This Is the Feast) Revelation 5:12-13; 19:5-9
C This is the feast of victory for our God. Alleluia.
I Worthy is Christ, the Lamb who was slain, whose blood set us free to be people of God.
II Power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and blessing and glory are His.
C This is the feast of victory for our God. Alleluia.
I Sing with all the people of God, and join in the hymn of all creation:
II Blessing and honor and glory and might be to God and the Lamb forever. Amen.
C This is the feast of victory for our God, for the Lamb who was slain has begun His reign.
Alleluia, alleluia.
Opening Hymn: Here I Am, and I Have Come
Here I am, and I have come
To thank You, Lord, for all You’ve done;
Thank You, Lord!
You paid the price at Calvary,
You shed Your blood, You set me free;
Thank You, Lord!
No greater love was ever shown,
No better life ever was laid down.
You took my sin, You took my shame,
You drank my cup, You bore my pain:
Thank You, Lord!
You broke the curse, You broke the chains,
In victory from death You rose again;
Thank You, Lord!
And not by works, but by your grace,
You clothe me now in your righteousness.
[Refrain – repeat 2x]
And I will always love Your name.
And I will always sing Your praise.
You bid me come, You make me whole,
You give me peace, You restore my soul;
Thank You, Lord!
You fill me up, and when I’m full
You give me more ‘til I overflow;
Thank You, Lord!
You’re making me to be like You,
To do the works of the Father, too.
[Refrain]
Here I am, and I Have Come

Prayer of the Day
L Almighty God, You know that we live in the midst of so many dangers that in our frailty we cannot stand upright.
C But You have sent to us a mighty Savior
L and granted to us very great and precious promises
C that through faith we may have Your protection to support us in all dangers
L and Your strength to carry us through all temptations,
C and have authority from Christ to cast out our satanic foe,
L through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now
C and forever. Amen.
Sermon Hymn: In Christ Alone
Verse 1
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand.
Verse 2
In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live.
Verse 3
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.
Verse 4
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand

Lord I lift Your name on high
Lord I love to sing Your praises
I’m so glad You’re in my life
I’m so glad You came to save us
You came from heaven to earth
To show the way
From the earth to the cross
My debt to pay
From the cross to the grave
From the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
[Repeat]
Lord I Lift Your Name on High
